About the Myon Trio

Mayan (Myon) is a singer-songwriter based in Austin, TX. Myon's songs are a mix of jazz, blues and classical sounds. Myon started playing piano at age seven and is classically trained. Her music is heavily influenced by artists such as Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Joni Mitchell, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Edvard Grieg, Nina Simone, and Laura Nyro.
